Show me another »How to remove a Freewheel on a BMX bike without speacial tool?
I have a BMX bike. I am trying to take the Freewheel off. It is threaded on there. I know you need a speacial tool but i dont have. Can i use a hammer and screw driver?

you can use what ever you want but your gonna want to ride it later! so take to shop have them remove or buy a freewheel remover. leave the hmr & s-drvr for computer.

- Take the wheel to the local bike shop and have them take it off. The tool needed doesn't cost much and you will have one for the next time.0% 0 Votes
- A bike shop should do it for free. I know I wouldn't charge anything.
