Mountain Bikes Under £250?

Does anybody know of any mountain bikes for sale on websites that are under £250 new?

Look at the GT Avalance 3.0 for that price, it was about £269 without disc brakes or £299 with them. It pushes your budget a little though.

I think EvanCycles sell 'em.

For £179 this looks good too.

But read up on this one.

The Avalance is a nice bike, it's about 30lbs so it's not ideal for road racing but take it to some rocky areas and have a blast. I have one and it's been great.

  i got a muddyfox hooligan rogue for that sort of price and its a good bike and has never let me down. however i wouldnt reccomend using a bike on this budget off road.....

  Have a look at Merlin's site at http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/ they have some good offers, including a decent looking Commencal Normal for £249.95. Get in quickly as the offers change frequently.
