What commission do you get for selling bicycle parts on ebay for a bike shop?

If I use my reputable ebay account to sell for a local bike shop, what kind of commission should I generally expect?

The franchised eBay drop-off stores charge from 25 to 40% commission plus the ad and shipping cost. If you charged the bike shop 20% plus these costs it would be a good return for you and the shop would be paying less than it would otherwise cost them.

Be sure to figure packaging cost and get the shop to provide boxes and packing materials. Also, get an understanding up front with the shop what their return policy will be. It's important that you protect your feedback and not get stuck in the middle.

Good luck. Entrepreneurship is one of the things that make America grate.
